Literature Text

You are he who walks by night,
Who steps in darkness, not in light.

Many paths that you have trod
Still bear your footsteps in the clod.

Night's song calls you to her side,
"In my silence, come, confide."

But, know you this, my shadowstep friend:
For all your darkness, my darkness you end.
This is a piece I made up awhile ago as a sort of a message labely thing on the inside of a birthday gift book thing for a dear friend of mine, ~Wolfishgrin.

EDIT: I've since created music for this. For more info, refer to this Journal Entry.

COngrats on your DA award! :)

I like this flow! I love your rhymes, as none sound corny or forced, and it makes sense.'

My advice is to avoid friend and end for rhyming, but it works here. I generally avoid it cause 'end' is in 'friend', but it sounds fine.
